As you probably know by now, we recently expanded our offerings and now offer rides on the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP), the C&O Canal, Katy (Missouri), and the Florida Coast-to-Coast Connector.
This month we’re highlighting three of those trails (GAP, Katy, GAP + C&O) on what we’re calling the ‘Tour of Noble Invention Cycling’. Featuring the best trails in the US – coupled with the great amenities these trails have to offer and exceptional service provided by the team at Noble Invention – we invite you to either start the tour with us OR continue, if you have taken a trip with us once before.
If you are new to multi-day cycling trips, there is no better trail to start out with than the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP). This classic bike trail is the first in our series and offers a relaxed pace combined with a highly scenic trail and fantastic trail-side amenities.
Here are the trips we offer on the GAP trail:
The second ride in our series is a bit more challenging, perfect for the trail explorer in all of us. Katy Trail State Park is a 237-mile long rail-trail that crosses the state of Missouri. The trail mainly follows the Missouri River, which the Lewis and Clark Expedition used on their historic trip to map the West in the 1800s. The trail between Booneville and St. Charles is part of the American Discovery Trail.

Are you ready to put in the miles on a real adventure? For the last ride in our series, we come back to the Great Allegheny Passage, but we also add in the C&O Canal trail. You’ll bike from Pittsburgh, Pa., to Washington, D.C., for a total of more than 330 miles. On the GAP trail you’ll get some amazing scenery and trail-side amenities, and then once you hit the C&O trail you enter a world of transportation history. You’ll feel a building sense of accomplishment as you make your way to Washington, D.C. and pose for that final picture at Mile Marker 0!
