What is the difference between a Bike Tour Blueprint and a traditional Self-Guided Tour?

We’ve excitedly launched a new line of tours: Bike Tour Blueprints. These tours are designed to be an innovative way to give our guests more options and flexibility with the way they experience their favorite trails. Many people have asked us what the differences are between our new Bike Tour Blueprints and our traditional Self-Guided Tours and we are happy to explain!

Bike Tour Blueprints
Bike Tour Blueprints are essentially a DIY form of riding the trails. You get to make all of your own plans for your trip with a huge boost from our knowledge base. We have years of touring experience and insights and have wrapped all of it up in a digital package for riders to purchase on our website. Riders who choose to use our blueprints have total control and responsibility for mapping out their trip. We provide step-by-step instructions, recommendations, maps and suggestions on where to stay and eat but ultimately, you are responsible to arrange your own accommodations, transportation and logistics. These low-cost itineraries are perfect for adventurous souls who love researching and planning or are on a budget.

Self-Guided Tours
Our traditional Self-Guided Tours remain the same, well loved experiences that our business began with. With these tours, you book your trail tour with us and we take care of lodging reservations, transportation, some meals, optional side trips, trail support, and daily route maps. All you have to do is follow the trip plan we create for you. Essentially, we do all the hard work so you can just focus on enjoying the scenery, history and local flavors our routes so elegantly highlight.

If you have any further questions or would like to book a self-guided tour or purchase a blueprint, please call us at 844-424-5342.
